 Private Family Support

Steady, whole-family support over time.

Some families don’t need more advice. They need steadiness.

They need a place where their child’s big feelings make sense, where parents are not blamed, and where changes happen gently and consistently over time.

Private Family Support is designed for families who want support that considers the whole system: the child, the parent, and what happens between them.

Who this is for

This is often right when:

  • A child is anxious, dysregulated, overwhelmed, or struggling to cope with life

  • School feels hard — friendships, confidence, transition, pressure, attendance

  • Neurodiversity is present (diagnosed or suspected) — or your child simply experiences the world intensely

  • Family life has become reactive, tense, or exhausting

  • Parents feel unheard, alone, depleted, and in need of support for themselves and their children

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from this. Sometimes you just know you can’t keep doing it like this.

 How it works

We begin with a private exploratory conversation. This is a calm space to understand what’s happening and whether this is the right fit.

If it is, we agree a contained period of support — typically three months (sometimes longer if appropriate).

Within that structure, support may include:

  • Parent-only sessions (60 minutes): space to be heard, think clearly, and make changes that feel doable

  • Child sessions (30–45 minutes): gentle tools that help children name and regulate feelings

  • Occasional joint sessions when helpful

  • Light between-session contact within clear boundaries (not crisis support)

Sessions are scheduled in advance to create rhythm and reduce the ‘in the moment’ pressure that families often live with.

Tools I use with children (so it feels safe and doable)

  • Chatterminds Bears: helping children identify and name emotions without shame

  • Mindfulness practices that are short, practical, and child-friendly

  • Workbook: Mindfulness & Emotions for 6–12 year olds — making emotional learning concrete and structured

  • A simple ‘toolkit’ children can use at home and school

Investment

Private Family Support is agreed for a defined period in advance.

Engagements typically begin from £1000 per month, depending on the level of support required.

Fees reflect the continuity, preparation, and whole-family nature of the work.

Next Step

If this feels like it may be right for your family, you’re welcome to book a private conversation.

There is no obligation to continue.

If I don’t feel this is the right fit, I will say so clearly and, where possible, suggest alternatives.
